Digital Goa, Oct 24 – Goan windsurfer Katya Ida Coelho will hand over the torch to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the 37th National Games on Oct 26, informed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The grand opening ceremony at the JN Stadium in Fatorda will feature performances by renowned artist, 600 artists performance on the theme of the National integration and athlete’s parade of the 28 participating teams. About 10,000 athletes across various disciplines will participate in the games which will go on till Nov 9. 5,000 students would be part of the 12,000 odd crowd who will attend the inaugural ceremony of the National Games on Thursday.
