The 10th, 11th, and 12th editions of the Goa State Film Festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and Siolim MLA & ESG Vice-Chairman Delilah M Lobo on August 14 at 3:30 pm at INOX Screen 1, Panaji. Screenings will be held at Maquinez Palace Theatre and INOX, Panaji, with 19 feature films and 4 non-feature films competing for 21 feature film awards and 7 non-feature film awards.
The festival will also feature workshops and masterclasses by Neelaabh Kaul, Pankaj Saxena, veteran actor Kanwarjit Paintal, and martial arts expert Chitah Yajnesh Shetty. Winners of the 48 Hours Short Film Competition will be announced on the opening day.
Renowned Goan actress, singer, and model Varsha Usgaonkar will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the closing ceremony on August 17. The opening ceremony will include performances by singer Jolly Mukherjee, solo band artist Mukesh Ghatwal, and comedians Sagar Karande and Ankur Wadhave.
A food court and handicraft stalls will be open at the INOX courtyard from August 14–17. Delegate registrations are open under Goan Film Fraternity, Film Enthusiast, Student Delegate, and Media Delegate categories. More details are available at www.esg.co.in.
