Digital Goa, Jan 11 – A delegation of Goa govt on Mhadei met Union Home Minister, Amit Shah in New Delhi today and urged for immediate constitution of the Mhadei Water Management Authority as specified in the Mahadayi Water Dispute Tribunal award. The delegation and also urged for the withdrawal of the Karnataka’s Detailed Project Report(DPR) on Mhadei diversion sanctioned by Central Water Commission(CWC), informed CMO. Both MPs from Goa, Shripad Naik and Vinay Tendulkar, Goa govt ministers Vishwajeet Rane, Mauvin Godinho, Nilesh Cabral, Subhash Shiordkar, Speaker Tawadkar, Independent MLA Dr Shetye and Minister and MGP leader Sudin Dhavlikar were part of the delegation.
