Digital Goa, Mar 28 – Goa’s First Agro Clinic has been established at Sakhali by Meenanath Jalmi under a Central Govt scheme, informed CM Pramod Sawant. The clinic also provides 45 days training to those interested free of cost, informed CM. Agri-Clinics provide expert advice and services to farmers for soil health, cropping practices, clinical services for animals, feed and fodder management, prices of various crops in the market, etc. Sawant said that more such type of clinics will be established in Goa. Sawant inaugurated the Buyer-Seller Meet 2025 at Sankhali. The Swayampurna Goa initiative has led to a 30% reduction in horticultural imports, claimed Sawant. “To further strengthen organic farming in the state, we will implement an ₹18 crore project with the support of the Union Government,” he informed further.
