Digital Goa, Jan 9 – Goa’s first electric-cum-solar ferry boat commenced operations from today. The passenger ferry will ply between Panaji and Chorao. The 60 passenger capacity ferry will make 4 trips per day and the rides will be free for one month. After that govt will take a decision as regards the charges, informed officials. The ferry covers Panaji to Chorao distance in about 20 minutes. The ferry was officially launched in mid October 2022.
