Digital Goa, July 11 – Seven Members of Goa Legislative Assembly from the Opposition Benches have unanimously decided not to field a Candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha MP polls. The press communique signed by all the seven opposition MLAs – Congress(3), AAP(2), Goa Forward(1) and RG(1) stated that the decision is ‘part of Political Strategy in the interest of Goa’. This development has ensured BJP candidate Tanavade’s unopposed election as Rajya Sabha MP.
