Digital Goa, Feb 23 – Goa govt has constituted a 8 member governing Body headed by health minister for National Programme on Climate Change & Human Health. The governing body is expected to plan programs to create awareness among the general population (vulnerable community), health care providers and policy makers regarding impact of climate change on human health. The committee is also expected to chalk out measures to strengthen capacity of health care system to reduce illness/disease due to variability in climate.
