Digital Goa, Nov 6- All the beneficiaries of Dayanand Social Security Scheme(DSSS) have been asked to link their bank account to Aadhar within a period of 3 months. The Social welfare dept has warned the beneficiaries that their financial assistance shall be suspended till the linkage of Aadhar number to their Bank Account. The dept has also informed that only Saving Accounts linked with Aadhar Number shall be accepted along with fresh application Forms in future. As per the dept the linking of Aadhar with bank account is needed for smooth functioning of the scheme and hassle free disbursal of financial assistance through Aadhar Based Payment System (ABPS). Through the DSS Scheme financial assistance is provided to Senior citizen, Single women or widow, Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and HIV/AIDS patient.
