Oct 17 – Goa govt has co-opted 4 members to a Monitoring Committee for drafting of Heritage Policy for the State of Goa . The co-opted members include Director of Museum, Representative of Department of Marine Archaeology, National Institute Oceanography, Representative of Department of Geology, Goa University and Nirmal Kulkari, Herpetologist . The monitoring committee is expected to give inputs for the Heritage Policy, supervise and scrutinize the draft of Heritage Policy ,evaluate suggestions and objections received from domain experts and general public in respect of the Heritage Policy.
