Digital Goa, Mar 20- The Goa government has introduced e-stamping for secure electronic stamping of documents and remittance of stamp duty above Rs 9,999. The Stockholding Corporation of India has been appointed as the Central Record Agency for this initiative. CM Sawant launched the digital service at Mantralaya in the presence of Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserrate. CM listed out the benefits of the initiative as , 24×7 availability of stamp duty payment, seamless and paperless transaction, immediate verification and digital record, elimination of fraudulent practices and exact stamp duty payment preventing revenue loss. All Stamp paper selling vendors will be taken on board, he added.
