Digital Goa, June 26 – Goa government has issued directions to concerned departments to strengthen hazardous, biomedical, and wet waste management systems, ensuring 100% regulatory compliance across all sectors. The move follows a high-level meeting chaired by CM Pramod Sawant with the Goa Waste Management Corporation, key officials, and stakeholders to review and accelerate the state’s waste management initiatives. CM emphasized the need for scientific, accountable, and time-bound practices to keep Goa clean and green. He also called on stakeholders to work collectively and aim to set national benchmarks in sustainable waste handling.
