Digital Goa, July 30 – Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited (GTDC) has invited e-tenders from single entities, joint ventures, and consortiums for the development, operation, and maintenance of a passenger ropeway between Panjim and Reis Magos. The project is to be executed on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis. 8,000 sqm of land in Reis Magos has been taken on lease for 99 years from the Comunidade of Nerul. 5,200 sqm of land at Campal, belonging to the tourism department has also been allotted for the project. The project was previously awarded to a private company but later scrapped in June 2025 allegedly over payment issues.
