Digital Goa, Feb 21 – Goa Tourism Development Corporation owned Mapusa Residency is proposed to be redeveloped on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer(DFBOt) basis through private investment. Mapusa residency is spread across 5,203 sq mtr area and has current builtup area of 8158.268 sq mtr. A three star or higher city hotel with minimum 40 rooms is proposed to be redeveloped at the site. The private entity shall develop, operate and maintain a ‘Three Star or higher category’ City hotel for the term of the Project as per guidelines of the Ministry of Tourism, states a tender floated by GTDC.
