Digital Goa, Jan 8 – Mandrem Police arrested a 40-year-old Guinea national and seized suspected narcotic substances worth approximately ₹20.80 lakh during a raid at Arambol, Pernem, on January 8, 2026. The accused has been identified as Emmanuel Blessed, presently residing at Arambol, Pernem. He was apprehended at a parking area at Arambol.During a search, police recovered 242 grams of purple-coloured powder suspected to be ecstasy (MDMA), valued at around ₹12.10 lakh; 55 grams of whitish powder suspected to be cocaine, valued at approximately ₹3.85 lakh; and 97 grams of whitish crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine, valued at about ₹4.85 lakh.The total value of the seized narcotic substances is estimated at ₹20.80 lakh.
