Digital Goa, Nov 23 – A director of a Gurgaon-based liquor company has been booked for allegedly cheating a Mapusa firm of ₹20 lakh after failing to supply imported liquor as promised. As per the complaint filed by Mapusa based company, on April 15, the representative of Gurgaon based Liquor supplier, induced him into believing that imported liquor worth ₹1 crore would be delivered upon payment. Police said the accused accepted amount to the tune of Rs 20 lakh but neither supplied the liquor nor returned the money.
