Digital Goa, Jan 23 – Of the 45 to 47 projects allotted for the capital city of Panaji under Smart City and Atal Mission For Rejuvenation And Urban Transformation(AMRUT) Missions, close to 15 have been completed while the remaining 30 odd are ongoing, informed Collector North and MD&CEO IPSCDL Mamu Hage.
Integrated Command and Control Centre helping nab criminal elements: Collector North
The Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) being implemented in Panaji under Smart City Mission has also helped apprehend those involved in criminal activities, informed Hage. The Artificial Intelligence(AI) based integrated high-tech system comprising of CCTV cameras installed for real-time surveillance of traffic junctions and other important buildings of the city, Smart traffic management, smart Parking, crowd management systems etc is aimed at enhancing the safety and security of citizens by bringing all departments on a single platform. The aggregated data including videos collected through various means is analysed and processed at the control centers and converted into actionable intelligence, helping in effective decision making.
