Digital Goa, Nov 20 – GPS Harischandra Madkaikar has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (North) in place of IPS Rahul Gupta. According to the Department of Personnel order dated November 20, Madkaikar, who was earlier serving as SP (Konkan Railway), will take charge of the North Goa police immediately. The order further states that SP South, Tikam Singh Verma, IPS, will hold additional charge of SP (Konkan Railway) until further arrangements are made.
