Digital Goa, Sept 7 -High Court has directed the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) to de-seal the premises of two restaurants within two days after the board revoked its closure orders, citing that the establishments now fall under the ‘White’ category. High Court disposed of two different writ petitions filed in this regards by two restaurant operators as withdrawn. The court noted that the GSPCB revoked its April 3, 2024 orders in light of a Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) order dated July 20, 2026, which placed the petitioner restaurants in the non-polluting White category. Consequently, the bench directed the GSPCB to de-seal the properties within 48 hours. The Court however clarified that all contentions in the tenancy disputes pending before the Rent Controller remain open.
