Digital Goa, Jan 21 – Goa Police have issued a lookout notice against the absconding, disqualified sarpanch of the Arpora–Nagoa panchayat, Roshan Redkar, in connection with the Birch fire case. The police have intensified the search for former sarpanch Redkar after his anticipatory bail application was rejected by the High Court on Wednesday. While rejecting his anticipatory bail plea, the High Court observed that “the role of the applicant in facilitating the creation of false and fabricated documents needs to be investigated further to ascertain and unearth the ramifications involved in the conspiracy.” Earlier, his anticipatory bail application had been rejected by the Sessions Court. Redkar has been absconding for several weeks, and the police are searching for him to arrest him in the fire incident in which 25 persons died.
