Digital Goa, Feb 13 – Goa Children’s Court has adjourned hearing in the Suchana Seth case to Feb 21 as her father has urged the court that her mental condition be assessed afresh. Meantime, Suchana’s judicial custody has been extended till Feb 26. Bengaluru-based data scientist Suchana Seth was arrested for allegedly killing her four-year-old son in a resort at Candolim in the second week of Jan this year. Her father had approached the Goa Children’s Court seeking a direction to Goa police to get her examined by a civil surgeon or medical board to ascertain her mental condition. Incidentally, Calangute police have submitted the medical examination report received from the medical superintendent, Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB), Bambolim to the court. The report has stated that her mental condition is stable.
