Heavy vehicles movement restricted in view of Porvorim Elevated Corridor Project work

Aug 12 – Heavy goods vehicles entering Goa shall be diverted at Patradevi to proceed via Banda-Dodamarg-Bicholim-Sanquelim for onward journey till the completion of the construction of National Highway-66 Elevated Corridor Project, stated a public notice issued by North Goa District Magistrate today. All Heavy Goods Vehicles proceeding towards Talukas of the Bicholim, Sattari, Tiswadi and South Goa District shall be diverted at Banda to proceed via Dodamarg- Bicholim throughout the day and night. The Heavy vehicles desiring to proceed to Pernem and Bardez Taluka shall stop and park on the side of the road from Patradevi to Insuli Check Post from 6 am to 10 pm and shall enter Goa via Patradevi Check Post between 10 pm to 6 am, the public notice states.
