Digital Goa, Mar 11- High Court has asked the state tourism dept and the Captain of Ports to dispose of show cause notices issued to Water Sports operators at Baina Beach for not following the queue system, ‘as expeditiously as possible’ and in any case within 15 days from today. Tourism Dept informed the Court that they had issued 3 notices to violators and were about to issue notices to 17 more operators while Captain of Ports had issued notices to 7 violators. Court was hearing the petition by Baina Water Sports Association about the non-implementation of the queue system and several other grievances related to Water Sports at Baina Beach. The association had contended in their petition that authorities including the Director of Tourism and the Police Inspector of the Coastal Police Station were not addressing their grievances promptly.
