Digital Goa, Feb 14 – High Court today directed the contractor and the government to answer why the work of last stretch of Western bypass in Salcete was not completed as per the schedule date of December end. In a fresh submission, Goa govt informed the court that the remaining work of 2.75 kms work will be completed by May this year whereas the contractor informed the court that the work can not be completed before September. The court directed both to file fresh affidavit as to what is the status of the work and why the work it taking so much of time.
