Digital Goa, Oct 31- Goa govt today notified the Goa staff selection commission (SSC) (amendment) ordinance to allow government departments three more months to complete recruitments to group C posts. The deadline to complete the process was expiring today, October 31. The recruitment process for those vacancies created before January 8, 2022 can now go on till Jan 31, 2024. The state had started recruitments to fill around 10,000 vacancies prior to State Assembly Elections in Feb 2022. However, examination and selection process for filling up these posts had not been completed. The departments were given time till Oct 31 to complete the process. The same can now go on till Jan 31, 2024. Incidentally, those vacancies created after January 8, 2022, would be filled through the Staff Selection commission.
