Mapusa Police have now booked Milind Naik Dessai accused in hit and run case for Culpable homicide not amounting to murder and destruction of evidence in the fatal accident happened on Oct 15. The section 304, 201 of IPC was added after police confirmed that Dessai was under the influence of alcohol when he hit bike of Pradeep Narvekar from Guirim from behind, in which he died on the spot. Police informed the court that the accused Milind Naik Dessai is Advocate by profession and he has knowledge of his act
