Hoarding policy finalising committee gets 3 months extension

    Digital Goa, June 16 – Committee constituted by the Goa govt to formulate policy to regulate hoardings along highways and roads across the State have been given an extension of 3 months by the High Court. The term and timeline of the committee had expired, informed AG Devidas Pangam. The committee formulated in 2022 is headed by the Revenue Secretary and includes both collectors, the two superintendents of police as well as the superintendent of police (traffic), the director of municipal administration, the director of panchayats, the chief engineer (roads), the chief town planner, the commissioner of CCP, the project director of the NHAI a representative of the All Goa Hoarding Owners Association and an eminent lawyer.
