Digital Goa, June 5 – A 70-year-old person was injured after his house caught fire at around 5 am today morning at Curtorim. The house owner identified as Caitano Minguel D’silva sustained 30% burn injuries and was shifted to the hospital for treatment. In addition to the house, 3 parked two-wheelers, electronic items such as laptop, fridge, TV, furniture inside the house were also engulfed in the fire. It took the fire fighters over 4 hours to bring the fire under control. Loss is estimated to the tune of Rs 7 lakh. Meanwhile, two kiosks at Benaulim beach were also gutted in fire in the wee hours today morning.
