Digital Goa, Jan 18 – A house was completely gutted in a fire that broke out at Brahmakarmali in Sattari on Saturday night around 10.30 pm. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. By the time Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control, the house had already been reduced to ashes. The house belongs to three young siblings from Harvalkar family. At the time of the incident, two of the siblings had gone to attend a local temple feast, while the third, who was alone, had gone to her uncle’s house for the night. No one was present in the house when the fire broke out. All household belongings including gold, cash, electronic equipment including TV, fridge etc were destroyed in the blaze, with losses estimated to run into several lakhs of rupees.
