Digital Goa, Sept 11 – Principal of Higher Secondary School at Dabolim has been suspended for allegedly taking students to a masjid in the vicinity for a workshop and asking the girl students to allegedly wear hijab. The Principal has been suspended, informed School Management Chairman. The Principal Shankar Gaonkar had allegedly taken the students to attend the workshop organized by the Islamic Students Association at Dabolim masjid. The action was taken on Principal Gaonkar after protest by Vishva Hindu Parishad at the school premises.
