Digital Goa, Jan 20 – If Pondicherry can have dual citizenship, why not Goa? questioned former CM Luizinho Faleiro. “50 % population in Pondicherry has dual citizenship,” he said. He further went on to add that all advanced countries are giving the facility of dual citizenship to their citizens. Faleiro informed that he had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah as well as CM Pramod Sawant over the issue.
The senior politicians also asserted that he was not interested in contesting the Lok Sabha Polls 2024.
