Digital Goa, August 7 – MLA Viresh Borkar raised the issue of illegal plotting in Neura, citing absence of road, well, and water pipeline on the Regional Plan. Minister Vishwajit Rane responded that the area falls under settlement zone as per RP 2021 and the department will write to PWD to notify the road. Rane admitted illegal plotting happens and promised new measures to curb it. LoP Yuri Alemao noted that 1,000 complaints on hill cutting and land filling remain unaddressed.
