Digital Goa, Sept 5- After a prolonged weak monsoon, there is a possibility of heavy showers in the state. Goa IMD has issued a yellow alert in the state for next four days. “Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places on Sept 6 to Sept 9”, says IMD. There is as good as no rainfall recorded in Goa in the last one week and the maximum temperature in the state continues to remain 1 to 2 degrees higher than normal. The cumulative rainfall in the state this season is almost stagnant at 2771 mm (109 inch).
