Digital Goa, July 18 – In an important step towards inclusive welfare, the Goa State AIDS Control Society (GSACS), in consultation with the Department of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, has initiated the conversion of APL ration cards to Priority Household (PHH) cards for families of People Living with HIV (PLHIV). This move enables eligible beneficiaries to receive 5 kg of rice per person per month free of cost, ensuring food security and dignity for vulnerable households. GSACS handed over the first converted PHH ration card to the Director of Zindagi-Goa, an NGO working with PLHIV communities.
