Digital Goa, July 28 – Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Tuesday carried out a medical evacuation of two critically injured seafarers from the Panama-flagged merchant vessel off the Goa coast. The injured crew members were identified as Jismsher Davitaze (37), a Georgian national, and Arun Babu Varukattu (34), an Indian national. The Coast Guard swiftly evacuated both seafarers and transported them ashore for emergency medical care. Following the rescue operation, the two patients were shifted to DOna Paula based hospital for further treatment.
