Digital Goa, June 19 – In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old youngster from Mumbai died in accident between a tanker and a car at the ‘infamous’ Karmal Ghat at Canacona. The deceased is identified as Arun Gandhi. He had come to Goa with four other friends on holiday. The group booked rent-a-car from Margao. They were returning from Palolem beach to Margao when a tanker going towards Karwar dashed against the car while negotiating a sharp turn at Karmal Ghat. The car fell into a nearly 10 meter deep trench. Arun died on the spot while Med Patva(19 years), Amey Janatre(19 years), Siya Choradia(19 years) and Sehavi Lodha (19 years) have been injured and are being treated at Margao hospital.
