Jan 2 – Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte today refuted that the tourism activity this new year celebrations was lacklustre while blaming the influencers for spreading false narrative about Goa’s tourism sector. Speaking to media after chairing a meeting of all tourism stakeholders, Khaute insisted that Goa was overcrowded with tourists during the last few days. He also announced that comprehensive SOPs will be put in place very soon to streamline the water sports and cruise tourism activity on the Goan beaches and to ensure safety and promotion of Goan culture.
