Digital Goa, September 2 – INS Hansa, Dabolim will carry out small arms firing at Cavelossim on September 3 and 4, 2025. All small arms weapons fired by this unit will land on the target area which is well within the Cavelossian range, stated a press release. Residents have been advised not to be alarmed by the sound of firing but have been strictly prohibited from entering the beachfront adjoining the range, as it falls within the danger zone. Fishing and recreational boats have also been also barred from operating within 2 km seaward of the Cavelossim range during the exercise.
