Digital Goa, Sept 9 – Manohar International Airport has commenced operation of its International Air Cargo Terminal from yesterday with cargo operations from Mopa to London Gatwick The integrated air cargo terminal at Mopa is designed for handling wide body 747s, Boeing 777s and all of kinds of major bulk cargo. In 2020, GMR had estimated that cargo movement from Goa will cross 1,00,000 metric tonnes by around 2045. The cargo handling facilities at Mopa are likely to benefit Goan Industries, specially the Pharma Industry in the state.
