Digital Goa, Apr 9 – In a significant push towards green mobility and commuter convenience, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) will set up electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and tourist friendly facilities in the state. Goa government signed an MoU with IOCL to promote sustainable infrastructure development under the Vikasit Goa 2047 vision today. CM Sawant informed that the state government will provide land for setting up the required infrastructure, including charging stations, changing rooms, and toilets at state borders. Battery swapping stations will also be established in major cities across the state under the initiative.
