Digital Goa, November 9, 2025 – CM Pramod Sawant, who also holds the Law portfolio, held a meeting with officials from all 12 taluka registrar offices to address issues in registrations from marriages to land records. Sawant attributed the issues to long-pending IT and infrastructure problems faced by NIC and ITG and directed that they be resolved. He assured that within 8–10 days, there will be visible improvement in their functioning. He added that registration services will soon be accessible from any office in the state. He further informed that the Mapusa registrar office has been renovated, with two more set to shift to new premises.
