Digital Goa, Apr 19 – Thousands of government job seekers, who had applied for 147 jobs at the South Goa District Collectorate four years back, in 2019, will have to wait still more to answer their written tests and skill tests. The tests have been cancelled as the tests dates overlap with the model code of conduct in force in view of Ponda and Sanquelim Municipal elections. South Goa Collectorate today issued a public notice announcing postponement of the tests for the 147 post of Jr Stenographer, Talathi, LDC and MTS. New dates will be communicated separately, states the notice. Incidentally over 24,000 persons have applied for the 147 posts.
