Digital Goa, October 6, 2025 – The Margao Court has extended the judicial custody of 23 of the 25 accused in the Mungul assault case by 12 more days. The next hearing in the case has been scheduled for October 18. Two of the accused, who were charged with helping others hide in hotels in Karnataka, have been granted bail. About a month ago, the court had initially remanded the accused to judicial custody for one month, which has now been extended for the remaining 23.
