Digital Goa, May 15 – Justice Bharat Pandurang Deshpande assumed charge on May 15 as the Chairperson of the Goa Human Rights Commission. A former judge of the Bombay High Court at Goa, Justice Deshpande is known for his contributions to the judiciary and human rights discourse. Notably, upon his retirement, he signed his own Living Will to promote dignity in end-of-life.
