Digital Goa, Jan 8 – Former Bombay High Court judge Justice Sandeep Shinde has been selected for appointment as the next Goa Lokayukta, announced CM Pramod Sawant. The recommendation will be sent to the High Court, after which the formal appointment will be made on completion of due formalities. The Lokayukta’s post has been vacant since the tenure of Justice (retd) Ambadas Joshi ended in December 2024, leaving around 14 cases pending.
