Nov 29- Pointing out that the Kalasa Bhanduri Project has been delayed due to pending wildlife clearance, Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah has sought quick resolution of the issue from PM Narendra Modi. Karnataka CM & Dy CM D K Shiva Kumar met PM Modi today. “Urgent attention has to be given to the Mekedatu project on the Kaveri river and the Kalasabanduri project on the Mahadayi river,” stated a representation given by Siddaramaiah to PM Modi. “These lifeline initiatives have been delayed due to pending clearances. Karnataka deserves timely action for its water needs,” the representation further adds.
