Digital Goa, Feb 28 – Two persons from Karnataka have been arrested by Mapusa police for committing theft at Bodgeshwar temple at Mapusa. The accused are identified as 40-year-old Sagar Shinde and 40-year-old Anand Naik. The duo broke open the glass cover of the donation box in front of the idol while the security guards were asleep in the wee hours today. The guards who got up with the noise raised an alarm following which duo decamped with as many notes as they could carry from the donation box. Mapusa police managed to nab the duo within few hours of committing the crime.
