Digital Goa, Jan 16 – Nearly 896 liters of liquor being illegally transported from Goa to Kerala was seized by Karnataka Excise Dept from Ullal, Dakshina Kannada today. The liquor(114 bottles) and vehicle, together worth Rs 6.87 lakh has been seized by the police. The Karwar native driver of the vehicle has also been arrested. Tender coconuts were brought from Kerala to Goa through the tempo and liquor was illegally transported back, informed Karnataka Police.
