Digital Goa, April 23- Karnataka has opposed a joint inspection of the Mhadei basin proposed by Goa, citing the matter as sub judice, WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar informed. The issue was discussed during the fourth PRAWAH committee meeting held in Bengaluru yesterday, with officials from Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka in attendance. The Central Water Commission has now asked the PRAWAH committee to consult legal counsel on the matter, he added. Goa has granted its no-objection certificate for the construction of the Virdi dam in Maharashtra during the meeting.
