Digital Goa, June 29 – In a tragic incident, a businessman from Karwar Shyam Patil, presently residing at Dabolim committed suicide along with wife and son, allegedly due to financial crisis. The 50-year-old businessman identified as Shyam Patil a native of Gokshita,Karwar and presently residing at Matvem, Dabolim was found hanging to a tree at Padi, Quepem. While his wife 37-year-old Jyoti Patil and 12-year-old son Daksh Patil allegedly jumped into the Kali river from the bridge connecting Goa and Karwar. Their bodies were found at Devbag beach.Police informed that Shyam left a voice note for his close friend and also his brother-in-law that he was committing suicide due to financial crisis and his wife and son have also committed suicide. Shyam had gone to his native place at Karwar. He left from there yesterday afternoon along with his family in their car. Police suspect that the wife and son must have been dropped on the Kali river bridge by Shyam who went further ahead to Padi and hanged himself.
