Digital Goa, August 7 – AAP national convener and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to Goans to vote out the BJP, claiming the BJP government would withdraw the E20 fuel policy within days of the election results if defeated. He also urged voters not to support the Congress, alleging its elected leaders would eventually join the BJP. Kejriwal’s remarks bears significance amid discussions on a possible opposition alliance in Goa. Incidentally, while speaking at press briefing on ST Reservation notification, media persons queried GPCC president Girish Chodankar over alliance. He said the Congress remains hopeful of an alliance as that is what is the demand of the people of Goa. The party has formed a six-member committee exclusively for alliance related discussions, informed Chodankar. He went on to add that people of Goa want the alliance. “We are still hopeful. We are still positive. In democracy what people want happens. People are supreme. It is upto the political parties to decide,” he said.
